Based on the best selling book of Khaled Housseni, “The Kite Runner” is a film that shows how Afghanistan has suffered through years of constant war. It proves how one act of cowardness, fear and betrayal can transform a life.

Amir, (Zekeira Ebrahimi) is a rich boy of Afghanistan who could never please his father. He has always known Hassan (Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada), the servant’s son who his nobility and loyalty have always described him. Baba (Homayoun Eshadi), his dad, has always loved them both and this has always make Amir jealous of how proud is Baba of Hassan. The two boys played together all the time. Until one day, in a kite competition of Kabul, Hassan goes through a traumatic experience to make Amir happier. This makes Amir full of guilt and deception; and makes Hassan and his dad go away forever.

When the Russians come, Amir and his father need to leave the country. This has been the perfect opportunity to start a new life and forget his childhood. He grows up in The United States and decides to be a writer. There he meets Soraya (Atossa Leoni) and falls in love, but due to a call of the past Amir returns to Kabul to see if there is a chance that he can be good again.

In my opinion the story is really good. I think it is an excellent idea to make this movie in the original languages instead of using just English and a few words in what the other countries speak. For this and many reasons I think the representation of the country is quite accurate, although the adaptation of the book was a little disappointing. The main feeling of guilt is what the whole story is drawn and I think in some parts of the movie this is lost and the viewer may not understand. The actors are very good and so is the movie, I recommend it if you want to see a different type genre.

Our school was selected to participate in the Farewell project. This project is basically about global warming. The school participates in several projects to make the school more ecological and make people aware of this problem that affect us all. Two representatives from our school were chose to go to the Arctic to investigate and see for themselves all the consequences and causes of it. They were chose because of their commitment towards the Green Team (group of people that have been chose to work to make the school a less contaminated place)and a good level of grades.This page is a journal of their trip to the Arctic. Art is what I most enjoy in life, in all the ways it can possibly be represented, from a meaningful movie, an expressive photograph or a good piece of music. Art is life. Through it, humans can express themselves and let their imagination flow towards creation. “Art imitating life, life imitating art”.
Although I love to see and hear other's creations I also like to do my own. I try to play music, draw and paint, take photographs and the latest thing I’ve tried is writing. But my passion is dancing. Since I was little I liked it; but the feeling towards it became stronger through the years. Each movement is a phrase and the whole dance is an idea. "Dance is the hidden language of the soul" (Martha Graham). I practice contemporary danicng and hip hop which are the 2 types of dancing which I'm atracted to right now. Maybe the two of them can be described as opposites but I have found an interesting combination of both. This is one of my favourite dancers; her name is Sophia Boutella. I think she masters really well the hip hop technique and the basic lyrical dance idea.

There are a lot of things i like in life that attract my attention complitly and love doing. although there are a lot of thing that i would like to try until i decide what i want to do for the rest of my life, i do have my favourite ones.
one of them is cinema i love goin to movies or whatching a good movies alot, but i would aslo like to get a chance to produce it or be involved on it in any way. I love any kinds of movies that live a messenge or lives you thinking about it, that means they really had an effect on you. i would also love to right my own stories and porduce them either as a movie or a short book.
Another thing i love is music, although im not very good at it i love listening to it and singing it. i listen to music all day long. i like nearly any kind of music exept classic becouse i find it a bit boring.
One of my other passions is dancing, i think dancing and singing is a great way to express your self without words and feel free and independent.
